The console loads faster, is quieter, works better, and doesn’t have a gay disc drive.
Cons: It was manufactured in June 2006.
I think why it works so good: on a piece of paper I got it said they’ve opened this one, replaced broken hardware, made sure it’s in working order, had all firmware updates. It says the following:
Your “certified Microsoft Replacement Xbox360 Console” has been completely inspected, and if required, upgraded to the latest firmware and technical improvements for durability and playability. Only after it has passed rigorous technician and computerized testing using the same test equipment and processes used in the Xbox 360 factory, can it be called a “Certified Microsoft Replacement Xbox360 Console”
I don’t know if that means a gutted inside with and older case or what, but it sure as hell works better then my old 360.
