Cult series? The original, which came out when PC games weren’t nearly as mainstream as they are now, sold quite a bit. Diablo 2 sold even more. Calling it a cult series is pretty ignorant. Sure, its not the big name that Warcraft or, to a lesser extent, Starcraft is, but its not a cult game. And that’s saying a lot considering its stuck in the PC hack n' slash genre.
Diablo 3 will be some awesome shit. They’re finally improving the combat dynamics to make abilities and spells more useful and I like what they’ve done with the environment. And, you can never talk bad about Blizzard CG.
