How could I be happy? Rep: 58  Joined: 22 Aug 2006 Posts: 31,545 OFFLINE | I would say yes if I could have these agreements.
1. I do not age, my body would be what I have at the age of 18-20 or so, a young body. I would not age.
2. I can clearly remember things, even after a million years. I would never want to forget my loved ones.
3. I can not feel pain. imagine you accidentally fall into a volcano, it would cause tremendous and most likely ever lasting pain.
4. I can become mortal whenever I wish.
Only then would I say yes. If I had these abilities and was immortal, I’d spend thousands of years studying and becoming more and more intelligent.

Agreed. Under those circumstances, I’d be fine with immortality.

lol,I think #4 completely defeats the purpose of this assessment. I think if you choose immortality, then that is exactly what you are... immortal. You can never become mortal. What is your choice now?
