I say that if Sephiroth can cant cut the Junon cannon in half with ease back before he became super powerful. Then at the point of Sephiroth’s revival in AC... since he is immortal as well, I can see him having no problem just cutting Sin in half if he really wanted to.

Holy was stated to be able to destroy everything on the planet. Sephiroth could go intangible and dodge sin’s move and Sephiroth is stronger than everyone in the universe so Sin loses hypothetically because Sephiroth is the strongest.
