The Gigaslave IS L-sama. When Lina casts it, she’s summoning L-sama into the physical realm. If L-sama is willing, she will destroy the target. If she is willing, she can destroy the universe. If she is willing, she can take over the caster.



i guess u dont know nothing about her cuz she doesnt summon her to any plane she taps into l sama’s power which is y i said she was like the spectre cuz he does the same thing with the god of dc...........and gigaslave is an attack that she uses that if messed up can destroy the universe.......but like i said cosmic beings can cut off or seal the magic within the universe........




The Lord of Nightmares created not only the entire Slayers multiverse, including the futuristic galaxy portrayed in Lost Universe) and 2 other known worlds including the realms of Chaotic Blue and Death Fog. Both Shabranigdo, the devil figure of universe where Slayers takes place, and his rival Ceiphied are her direct creations. Some have theorized that the Lord of Nightmares did this simply because she wanted to watch gods, demons and mortals contend because it would be amusing, a hypothesis adopted by Valgaav in Slayers TRY in his attempt to remake the world. Others have theorised that Lord of Nightmares requires the chaos of battle for sustenance.

As few humans are aware of the Lord of Nightmares; even fewer actually seek her attention. Only Lina Inverse has been known to directly use the power of the Lord of Nightmares in spells, and this she does with great reluctance. Spells that call upon the power of the Lord of Nightmares are notoriously unreliable, with failure frequently having devastating consequences. The most notable of such spells, the Giga Slave, could theoretically destroy existence itself if miscast. Only Lina Inverse knows this spell and she has so far been unwilling to teach it to anyone else. In the beginning of the series, she also knew little about Lord of Nightmares, and using the bits she learnt, she created an incomplete form of Giga Slave used to defeat a piece of Shabranigdo in Slayers. At the end of Slayers Next, Lina is goaded into casting the Giga Slave, which in reality was a spell to summon the Lord of Nightmares itself. The price of the spell was surrendering her body to host the Lord of Nightmares.

The Gigaslave IS L-sama. When Lina casts Gigaslave, L-sama herself is manifesting herself INTO the physical plane. Gigaslave is Lord of Nightmares herself. It’s not a spell or weapon. It’s a summoning. It’s not tapping into the power of L-sama. It’s basically directly asking L-sama “Hey, can you take care of this for me YOURSELF?"

If you have seen Slayers, you’d understand. But you haven’t. And comparable to Spectre? Don’t make me laugh. That guy is always fucking jobbing to one guy or another. In the grand scheme of things, Spectre is jack shit. He gets his power from God. L-sama IS God. Big difference, buddy.

And I do know what I’m talking about. I’ve seen the anime and read the novel. What about you? Past descriptions on Wikipedia, WHAT do you know? Nothing. Saying “I don’t know what I’m talking about” is worse than the pot calling the kettle black. It’s asinine because you’re completely ignorant.

And once again, in case you missed the long thread of Beyonder VS L-sama, you would know that Slayers itself is a multiverse. All of L-sama’s creation doesn’t equal one multiverse - they’re EACH their own verse with a variety of timelines and realities.
