Because I disagree with them? No, because they spend their time on the internet circle-jerking over something noone cares about. Even though there is a low proportion of atheists in real life, why are there so many in forums?

Not really, half of my school are. atheists. The other half is either Jewish or Christian.
Religion has been decreasing dramatically in popularity, and nihilism, atheism, and agnosticism are taking the cake now.
Not really, google Atheism in decline and you should see the official study. Apparantly atheism is now in decline, due to reformed views of religion, low atheist birth rates and disilusionment as to what Atheism used to offer and what they used to blame religion for (just as many fanatics, fundamentalists, crackpot dictators, and that secular thought didnt bring peace as had been hoped (religious wars are really just political wars but with leaders attempting to justify it. However, most ex-atheists are not joining major religions, and so there is now a re-paganisation occuring in the first world. Though this was meant to mean personal beliefs were increasing, the press predictably took it literlly, claiming things like “wicca will take over the world."
(sits back and relaxes) Wow, longest post i ever wrote...
Seriously, try to make an intelligent point without spitting out some, well to put it bluntly, idiotic remark at the end. Makes everything look better.
It’s kinda sad that Atheism will decline because they are doing “the right thing”, which is having only one or no kids. While the Christian strategy is to just have as many indoctrinated kids as they can, and push atheism off the scales with their bloated number of offspring.
Considering our current situation in the world, everyone really should only be allowed to have one kid for, like, the next 10-15 years... just to sink the population.

Hmm, first intelligent post you have made. Congrats to you.
And I have never heard of this study. Atheism is quite popular.
