Ya know its the first online shooter I’ve ever played where there is a definite split in who’s good and who isn’t. Why? Because the controls are just so well implemented that your only the best shooter if you really are the best shot. That’s how good the wiimote controls are in the game. It’s who has the best aim, who’s got the best reaction time, and who is the smartest with their weapons. It’s just something you can’t get with any other shooter.
Sorry if I’m sounding like a jerk but any Nintendo Wii game besides the Wii series beats nearly anything anybody can come up with on Wii.
Nintendo is just too good for that.
That and I’m already tired off WWII games. I hate the CoD4 and the MoH series. I loved them but too much exposure is killing me. I played nearly ever one last gen and I cannot take any more.
I can hardly take any more shooters.
GTA IV is fucking shit.
The only shooting game I really like Bad Company but that’s expected since it is a top of the line series like MoH and CoD.
I already gave up on the new 007 game because they turned it in to another Gears of War.
But I might get Timesplitters 4 if it has any new and major gameplay changes. As long as if it doesn’t have a duck and cover system or anything similar added it should be good.
Dude I know what your saying, but you said the wiimote is shit. And I’m just saying well you can think what you want, but if you want to justify your opinion ya got to get the best. And this is top of the line. MOHH2 controls aren’t called mouse and keyboard competitors for nothing.
I understand the angst for what kind of game it is and everything, but this is the best shooter controls you will ever use in a console game. There is nothign more satisfying or intuitive on the market.
I’ll give that but no matter what it’s still apparent the Wiimote wasn’t exactly what at least I thought it would be. It’s still limited in what it can do. ---

I don’t think they have any ownership in the single game or property. Cause remember nintendo published the game and rare only developed it. But they developed it through a property. And they no longer own the property, meaning they don’t have any stake in it anymore.
So it’s really just Activision and of course Nintendo because they published the title and have rights to it. But MS which has rare under there wing doesn’t have any legal connection to the game. so why this hasn’t popped up may have just got a little more interesting. ---

None of the graphics matched. The mountains in the background looked amazing but the buildings and everything looked like a mix of an N64 game and an xbox game. It was fucking stupid.
If they come out with a remake I expect a graphical update and new content but it needs to look consistent. ---

Every controller ever created has been limited in some way. It’s just with the Wiimote there was so much hype around it we really believed that this would be the one that had no limitations. I mean it was noble in thought because it could be expanded so much further than the rest, but falesly though. It has it’s weaknesses just like the rest.
but we do like what do with other controllers. Except that it’s only going to be normal for some setups and really just embrace it’s strenghts where it really does shine through. For the Wii we look at sports titles, shooters, and party games where the controller really has made leaps and bounds. And then we look at the other areas where it simply gives us another way of playing. May be better or worse but it does still work. And if not there is normally many control setups in Wii games just in case you don’t want to use the Wii setup. I think that kinda diversity of control is what makes the Wii so great. To know that I’m not forced to use the wiimote for Brawl but in MOHH2 I can own noobs night and day with pinpoint accuracy. ---

Well it’s just ya think about it that Rare developed through a property but no longer have that proerty. So they don’t have any rights to it Goldeneye 007 at all, meaning MS has none. So this is why I’m wondering why it hasn’t come to fruition, ans Ninty and Activision should have been able to come to a deal.
What I’m guessing is that Activision and MS tried to do it a while ago for XBLA and Ninty stomped their foot down on it. then they offered to do it on both, and they put their foot down again. I mean it’s bad for the gamer, but ya can’t blame them. ---

Yeah. I mix things up with controllers.
Classic and the Wii set up are really just for different things or certain games.
It depends on the game engine too. Some just go better with a certain controller.
I was actually amazed that it worked surprisingly well with Brawl. It wasn’t better than the classic set up and probably never will be for a game like Brawl but it does show that it can be fine tuned and work very well with the right game. ---

I think a lot of the games should have the option for both standard and wiimote. ya know it furthers there position of supporting all. ---

And most of those games will prbly suck just like some of their originals lol.
But the 360 does have a few good exlcusives left.
Too Human
Left 4 Dead
Fable 2
Halo Wars
Gears of War 2
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell Conviction
Peter Jackson Halo Project
And i guess Huxley and Banjo and Kazooie will be good too. But im not intrested in them.
Those are the only real exclusives i’m looking forward to on the 360 now. I mean there’s always the chance that a Dead Rising 2, Too Human 2, or Mass Effect 2 will come out and be exclusive to the 360. ---
