The map is shit. That’s what I have to say.
It doesn’t make up for Halo 3’s 5 million faults and counting.
Halo 3 needs an expansion that makes the game unplayable. Then I would buy it.
Your opinion on the map and game is unimportant to the 200 000 people that play and enjoy the game daily, who believe the game is playable, try playing with friends as it gets really fun when you’re being tactical calling out positions in matchmaking.
And I believe the map is great, chillout was a terrific map from halo 1, a remake will do nicely.
Bad Company is more tactical and has destructible environments. I can cut down Di5turbed’s house with a power tool. Can you do that on Halo 3?
I thought so.
Nope as that would destroy the balance of the game by drilling a hole in an area that isn’t supposed to have a hole, Battlefield was designed to work with holes in house, Halo was designed and balanced for 3 years to remain balanced and untouched.
can you shoot a fusion coil in Battlefield and have a traffic cone fly and splatter someone? thought not, the physics are too scripted for that.
That’s amazing. A traffic cone can fly. Flying traffic cones have been in games since the PS2.
The physics in Bad Company aren’t scripted. I bet all the holes in teh ground were scripted.
You know what’s better than a cone? A tree landing on someone’s ass! Now that’s hilarious!
Yep they’ve been flying, but never been actual collision objects that count for splatter kills.
How about a dumpster falling on someone then deflecting a grenade into the person spawnings face? It’s... FUNNY.
And yeah it is, the holes are just whole in the geometry that trigger after a certain amount of damage or a certain object makes contact with it, ever notice how only certain areas of a building break and how sometimes you’ll shoot an area and the hole formed will be off slightly from where you shot? OMG SCRITPED HOELES.

Holes in the ground aren’t scripted and trees can fall anywhere.
Halo 3 has scripted everything besides cones.
