This thread is not against or for evolution, it is just observing it.
We still do not know how life began, but evolution explains how it got where it is...

How could eyes evolve? Did a mutant proto thing get born with a few eye cells?

How come a part of our brain is meant to be evolving into a 3rd eye. Natural selection cant affect this, surely?

Why do humans have an urge to question our existance (eg religion). It doesnt help us at all.

Im just curious for ur views...
Feel free to post any others you have? I have a good idea of some of these already btw

Eyes evolved from yes, natural selection. Cells were able to sense things and these senses grow stronger as time goes on, and eventually become eyes, ears, nose, etc

Of course natural selection can effect this. Perhaps one day we can have 3 eyes.

Humans do that to try to
1.) Have a feeling of power over another (the instinctual pack animal dominance idea)
2.) Trying to improve life as we know it by spreading your ideas.

And yes, I believe in evolution.

Sure seems like its something against evolution, and you should have posted it in the offical evolution vs creationism topic..

Funny thing is I guess this one before I even learn about it..

What?!?!

STR wrote: Why do humans have an urge to question our existance (eg religion). It doesnt help us at all.

neither does the extra teeth in the back of our jaw, and apendenc, evolution tends towards “just enought” and not perfection.

Mine are not views, they are facts.

Theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch, as it can in everyday speech. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena.

We would get 3 eyes if we developed a need for them. Since some humans spend so much time in the dark I think that better night vision may be the next thing on the evolution agenda.

Thats not how evolution works, they gives us what we need, its what is capable of surviving, and reproducing more.

I dont really see how 3 eyes will help survival though. Except if it gave us vision behind us.

But who cares. I think Pet was just using it as an example.

Evolution is overall random quirks that appear and grow larger over many generations. The deciding factor in what succeeds or not is if it suits the surrounding environment correctly.

Evolution doesnt work like that, its not guided. How would a guy with more of a 3rd eye be more likely to survive and reproduce?

BTW GPLEX, you are STILL failing? Jesus, how can all that fail fit in such a small head?

Our skulls have been developing over thousands of years. Skull evolution is nothing new.

what is up with STR, you like insults with every reply, because I think you are a extremly ignorant person who hasnt even bother to look into how animals adapt with 2 eyes. Rabbit have almost 360 degree vision, a 3rd eye would not help a person out because you would need even more brain power to work out whats what, that is the same reasonw why you dont see animals with 100 limbs.

No... The frontal part of the brain is slowly becoming an eye. But it cant yet see. So how is the mutant with the more eye-like brain more likely to pass on the gene?

Yes it is... Read a textbook. Its natural selection. Evolution has no guiding force in which things develop as they are needed. The fittest survive and pass on. You didn’t know that?
