Everything on the planet is from space or stars to be more precise, Everything we have here all the elements and compounds came from the stars. Now because of earths proxomity to the sun and due to certain perfect conditions these elements were able to bond and combine in a way to create a self sustaining being or organism. This was bacteria or prokaryotic cells as we science majors like to call them. And they thrived for billions of years until due to a global cooling event a mutation occured producing a cell that would become the building block for every other form of life, the eukaryotic cell, of which you and I are composed of. all life aside from bacteria and a few other classes of microorganisms are composed of these cells so we are all very much alive and well.

Our intelligence is a result of constant chemical reactions, up in our brain. Our brains are so large that they allow us to have more reasoning and intelligence. Look at it like 2 dif. types of computers, we’ll say the 2 are equivalent to 2 diff animal brains from diff species. First we’ll take an 80’s dos command line interface computer and compare it to a modern pentium 4, 500 Gigabyte hardrive computer with 2 gigabytes of ram. The new one is going to outdo the old one because it has larger parts and can allow for quicker and greater amounts of electron movement. Now this doesn’t mean that the computer itself in this day and age is alive because it is a better product. It just makes it a better tool, which is what our brain is, an organic supercomputer. I think if we have souls they just inhabit our bodies and are collections of our overall personality and being, from this life and past ones. I don’t think our souls have any real relevance on this plane of being.
