Do you guys think that every major shooter out there now is getting into the online co-op modes? I mean Halo 3 was the first to show the goodness of it and while the game was short it had a lot of replay with the skulls.

Now with others like left 4 dead, COD5, RE5, etc each seems to be intergrating into somthing orginial which is very nice. Left 4 dead speaks for itself with a very fair AI so even people with little skill in the game will have an easy time dealing with the hordes of zombies, COD5 sounds very nice in this for it has the perks system but in co-op so 1 person can be set for sniping while another can be set for close combat. RE5 is great as well as each person can help manage and share items so your survial does not fall apart.

Well co-op is hot. And it’s just more accessible for online. I mean it’s not like a feature that can be overdone just starting to become a necessity for online.

I personally think that co-op is one of the best implementations Microsoft has.

My best friend moved a while ago. It’s mostly thanks to LIVE that we’ve been able to keep in touch. We mostly interact while playing co-op or multiplayer online.

Well I guess their old slogin from early xbox live has come true- Its good to play together.

Personally I think co-op for left 4 dead and COD5 seem to be in the best interest. Left 4 dead will make it so that everyone can take what work from different points to take out the zombies while COD5 will let everyone make their custom classes so I could be a riflemen covering all ranges, one friend of mine could go close combat with shotguns, another friend of mine could be a sniper, and the final member could go crazy and burn everything he sees with the flame thrower.
