What does the sun have to do with this?

Look down.

The thing is you don’t how fast he his and baby did die from the surface of the sun and lightning is hotter than that so Enel can fry them.

....except normal people survive lightning strikes(taken from http://www.enotes.com/science-fact-finder/weather-climate/how-hot-lightning:
The temperature of the air around a bolt of lightning is about 54,000° Fahrenheit (30,000° Celsius), which is six times hotter than the surface of the sun.

Remarkably, many people have been struck by lightning and survived. American park ranger Roy Sullivan, for example, was hit by lightning seven times between 1942 and 1977. As long as the lightning does not pass through the heart or spinal column, the victim of a lightning strike will most likely survive.

Even with prep, none of the people have anything close to a Batman like ingenuity so even if SSJ4 Goku randomly attacked they might not be able to create a good plan to defeat him.

And I forgot when Goku got frozen.

By one of those dragons.

Its true...

Roshi stronger than SSJ3...

Roshi shown his power to destroy the moon while SSJ3 Goku cant destroy even wooden house...

even SSJ3 Goku said he could destroy the moon... its BS since there is no proof or evidence that SSJ3 Goku destroy the moon...
