belphemon is pretty much the threat in season 5 as of now... Kurata found his digi-egg in a pyramid in the digital world with tons of warnings. the ancients saw belphemon as a threat so they sealed him inside his digi-egg. when Kurata found this egg, he found it as a way to destroy the digital world, he then decided that he shall enslave both worlds with belphemon’s power, belphemon is the most powerful digimon, he can destroy major cities in his sleep mode, and once every, i wanna say 10,000, years he awakens and goes into the form you see on the first post, his Rage Mode. he is completely unstoppable in this mode, and can destroy pretty much anything, as you saw, even with Kurata limiting his power, he was blocking every single attack marage gaogamon threw at him... since the digimon tamers where about to stop kurata, he turned himself into data and fused with belphemon to awaken belphemon early, kurata was then in full control of belphemon, which he could only tap into limited amounts of belphemon’s power, in result, shinegreymon was able to go into burst mode, and stop belphemon and kurata, with the power of all their friends, before belphemon took control back of his body or before kurata was able to rule both worlds...

Digimon stomp pokemon for the most part and that is the case in this thread.Also Belphemon is strong but not the most powerful digimon.

hes one of them though... i didnt feel like taking anyone stronger than him since then arceus would just turn to oblivion... lol but the only one i can think of right off hte bat that is equil to if not stronger than belphemon is Chronomon... and in season 5 he was said to be the most powerful...

i could also think of Omnimon who could be that powerful, the digimon Sovereigns (my favorite being Azulongmon), the other great demon lords, and maybe a few others...
