Almost all teh things in this debate have no effect, as only the powerful ssuperheroes/animes and 40ks Gods will be in the running, however , omnipotents shud be xcluded, as a fight between them is impossible to resolve. Star Wars, (apart from some Uber Jedis) and weak superheroes like batman are a non-factor, as they have nothing on stargods that can throw around star-system sized black holes faster than the speed of light, or guys like that pre-critical superman, who can go around at lightspeed and is invulnerable.
40k also has the Apex twins Teturact, a Psycic abomination that could fly between the stars and kill trillions and raise them as undead monsters, and also destroy planets death-star style. There are also a shitload of Daemonhosts like Cherubael, who, when bound at his very weakest, could throw an ogryn (4m tall ogre thing) into orbit, with one hand, effertlessly. He also vapourised a titan (100m tall superheavy battle mech thing instantli.
Prophantii, a faaar weker daemonhost, could catch hypersonic bullets out of the air from a few feet away.
Also, to give an idea of the power of teh gods in 40k, inside the warp, the realm of chaos, greater Daemons literally play ping-pong with planets. One greater daemon turned a star into a huge bunch of roses cos it felt like it. The chaos Gods are many millions, if not billions, of times more powerful, and destroy planets when they speak. The GEOM holds back all four in ther own realm, and has done for 10000 years.
40k would trump. I hate to say it. Thing is, people like the beyonder and even galactus pale to the powers in the 40k universe. Galactus can eat planets, abbadon can destroy stars.
Then as aforementioned, the chaos gods are in play. Which means superheros are now at their mercy. With people like wolverine succumbing to Khorne, and Dr, Strange Tzeentch.
Most superheros arent more powerful than a spacemarine. A 7” tall geneticaly engineered monster wearing 1 ton of armor weilding a .75 calibre 4 round burst self propelled rocket launcher. They also boast super strength and plethora of other abilities.
For those like superman, a gauss flayer would strip his molecues, or a farseer would fry his brains. Not even Prof X could match Eldrad in a battle of psychic powers. Then throw in the infinite, yes infinite demons of chaos, and you have armies of Avatars of Gods.
The armies of the imperium number in the billions, the necrons technology is 6million years in the making, and the Eldar are the master of space travel and psychic pressence. Orks are an unstoppable juggernaught that only strengthen with battle, Tyranids have consumed countless galaxies, and the forces of Chaos are legion and their influence absolute.

So true.

40K’s scale is about a thousand times bigger than any other universe. It has its Chaos Gods, IGEOM, C’tan, Primarchs, etc. A single imperator Titan could destroy half the superheroes in DC, and while superman is impervious to bullets a galaxy buster might fix that
Superman Prime....?

Warhammer 40k takes place in ONE galaxy and you’re talking about them taking on multiverses... ok...
Mxy turns them all to dust, yes even “chaos gods."
Anti-Monitor erases them...
Monarch blows up their universe.
Spectre does the true god’s work and kills everyone in 40k for their crimes.
Lucifer, well you know...
Michael, again...
Pre-Crisis Superman flies past the 40k universe and it crumbles to his might...
Living Tribunal, well he just crushes 40k like an ant...
Thanos doesn’t even need Marvel powerups. He just steals every powerful weapon in 40k and fucks everyone up.
Beyonder = omnipotent
Thanos /w HOTU = omnipotent
The Presence = omnipotent
TOAA = omnipotent
Yeah... Seems that 40k gets raped and this is coming from a guy that loves 40k...

Also, realize that there are extremely powerful non-omnipotent characters in 40K such as Abbadon, every assassin, and chapter masters.
and Lucifer, Michael, Mxy, LT, Spectre, and Phantom Stranger can easily pwn them all... and no they are not omnipotent.
