The sad thing is that even though a lot of what he said is true, most people will still remain willfully ignorant of everything he said because they don’t want anyone so much as suggesting that what we believe in our culture is shallow and moronic.

You know, a few days ago in my class at school we were studying newspapers. I noticed the front page featured two Australian Football players who lied to the public about whether they’d been drink driving, boasting the huge title THEY LIED in two or three inch high letters and a picture of their faces that took up two thirds of the entire fucking page.

Flipping through the newspaper at random, I saw a tiny little article with no picture. The article couldn’t have been as long or as high as my index finger and must’ve taken up about a 20th to a 30th of the page.
It read “150 Indians Trampled to Death”

I asked my teacher why they didn’t put this as front page news as surely it is more important and something we should be more concerned about than two sports stars lying to the public.

He just drew a dollar sign on the page.
