Emulators. Recently, a member made a topic asking for help on one. Such as playing Ninty 64 games on the PSP. (or similar to this) This can lead to illegal activities, such as downloading these games and using them on incorrect systems.

More then once, Emulator topics have gone unnoticed. I was just wondering if they fall under the rule of 'Illegal Activities' or not.

N64 emulators and roms on PSP is illegal.

A PS1 emulator and games are not illegal on the PSP because Sony added the emulator and allows you to download games frmo their site or the Playstation Store.

Of course, Legal Emulators are fine. Such ad DTC Emulators for Arena.

It’s just certain Emulators require you to even own the game before you can switch it over. so then it’s not illegal. Not all talk of Emulators is bad. However, as a precaution, asking for help on an emulator, where to find them, etc, should not be allowed.

I agree. I’m just saying not all the emulator topics need to be moderated. It depends on what it’s about.

Indeed. Supported emulators from the Dev or company itself are perfectly fine. Anything other then that is not allowed because of possible illegal activities.
