Yeah I am going to go out on a limb here and say NO. A BIG FAT NO.
Why? Well first off, no spainish or mexican people complained about what you kill in RE4.
Next dark skinned people complaining about this game thinking that a white man and woman killing all dark skinned people being racist well they should just STFU,
Did they ever hear of a game called Grand Theft Auto San Andreas? You play as an African American, if you choose you can kill only light skinned people, rather MOST OF THE POLICE FORCE IN THE GAME WAS LIGHT SKINNED!, yet no light skinned people complained about that! Really what is wrong with people saying that it is controversal if their own beliefs are reversed by somthing that has been done before?
No I am just tried of hearing this too, some african american at gamestop asked me what games I was getting for the 360 in the future and I told him RE5 and he flipped out on me calling me a racist when I was just saying what I wanted, I just kept quiet while he was yelling at me, I was glad the clerk kicked him out, the clerk was dark skinned as well and I told him and he even said that people always complain about somthing stupid like that. I am glad that there are sane people in this world.

Anyone who thinks it is racist, so I guess if there was a zombie outbreak in africa, the majority of zombies would’nt be black as portrayed in RE5?
Haha, the developers made it take place in Africa because they were racists. XD

Insecurity..Did you tell them you played other Resident Evil games?
There’s nothing wrong with stereotyping in a joking matter. What’s wrong is when people take it personally when they should simply learn to laugh at themselves. That’s called being innocent to differences in races because you are able to laugh at yourself.

I even laugh at racist jokes, and I’m black. Seriously.
