Ok I recently heard that bungie was impressed with COD4’s rank ups and unlocking weapons system, yet I really hope they do not do that, Halo 3 is the only balanced online shooter I can think of because it starts everyone off on the same playing field.
The reason I am sick and tired of COD4 is because everyone is just so ramped up on using the same weapons, P-90 or 50-Cal Barlett for everything! How can a game be good if it pits you into an unbalenced fight right from day 1? I know the M16 is good and I used it alot, mainly helped me get many headshots but It was so annoying from day 1 to just be gunned down by people already at lvl 46 using the most powerful rifles around.
BFBC did the same, although it is not as bad, I did unlock the Life-2 auto injector but seriously games that use unlocking weapons only to be pit against people of uneven ranks is a bad idea, what is worse, I do not even understand how people can call COD4 “Best Multiplayer” if it is so unbalanced that you enter become a slaugter fest in your first match.
I have been playing BFBC but I really hope that bungie does not follow the path COD did with a really stupid idea for multiplayer.

In all honesty, if you can play the game well you’ll do fine. I made it to the mid-30’s I think, and I was going up against 40’s right from the get-go.

Yeah, it’s hard at first but it’s easy once you get the feel of it.

You noob the m16 is the best weapon in the game so if you were gunned down by other people using p90 you are garbage

I like Halo 3 MP as it is....... however that ranking system can be tolerated in BC because all the maps are big which gives you more space to use your squad members to get good but idk about COD4, maybe that’s why I dont like it.....
