The toughest Batman is Nolan’s, I’d hate to say.
He might not have the hand to hand skill, the technology, nor the equipment of his modern day comic book counter part, but he’s crazier, meaner, and more mischievous, lets look over some of his quotes.
Alfred: “This house has sheltered your family for generations."
Bruce: “It’s not your family Alfred, why do you give a damn?"
Joker: “Tonight your gonna break your one rule."
Batman: “I’m considering it."
Rachel: “What chance does this city have when the good people do nothing?"
Bruce: “I’m not one of your good people Rachel (Pulls out a gun.)"
Ducard: “Have you finally learned to do what is necessary?"
Batman: “I can’t kill you, but I don’t have to save you."
Lets look at what Nolan’s Batman did in order to stop crime.
Was about to murder Joe Chill in cold blood, but was beaten to it.
Almost beat the Joker to death, but was stopped when he was told where Rachel and Harvey were.
Broke someone’s legs in order to get some information.
And here’s the finally, let Rachel die in order to save a crime fighter so he wouldn’t have to be Batman anymore.
Nolan’s Batman is a little more psychopathic than the comic book Batman, therefore he would risk more in order to win.
