We’ve never seen a supernova in the DBZ realm. So simply assuming that it doesn’t rip a hole in a dimension is stupid.

Let me shed some light on the whole fallacy deal.

No Limits Fallacies
With certain characters, the no-limit fallacy is a well established or integral aspect of their characters. Omnipotents, almost by definition, shouldn’t have limits, as we normally understand them. The Light Hawk Wings are an essential part of Tenchi and they were basically designed by the series’s creator to have virtually no limits.

So unless someone specifically prohibits the use of such plot devices or no limit fallacies with these sorts of characters, it is reasonably assumed that those no limit fallacies are in play whenever those characters are involved.

It’s like saying that for the purposes of a battle, the Flash cannot travel above a certain speed, or that Buu cannot use his candy-transformation or absorption powers. You can certainly do so, but it needs to be explicitly stated.

*Facepalm* we’ve never seen a supernova even thought there are stars so that means there are none right. Fail. You know what? We have seen supernovas in DC and we know there are other dimensions in DC and none of them opened a hole so

Actually, humans have directly observed a super nova. Back in May.

You do that Super Nova’s powers vary greatly. Right?

But that doesn’t automatically mean that Gotenks' scream is more powerful than any supernova.

Anyways. A supernova contains even more energy than a sun on it’s own. And characters in DBZ have been killed by suns. Gotenks didn’t kill anybody with his scream, now did he?
