Amen brotha!
Guild Wars Nightfall has such an awesome ending... it brings a tear to my eye.
no tears, it is all fiction...so it really should have no hold on you.
What a very cynical way of missing the point. If a story doesn’t engage the audience on a personal level then it isn’t doing its job. The same applies whether it be books, movies or games. Being unable to be emotionally moved by fiction is not the normality that you make it out to be, it’s essentially minor emotional retardation or just macho bullshit. Sorry to be harsh, but the notion that it is in any way worrying to be moved by fiction is patently absurd and quite offensive.
I have been moved almost (and sometimes fully) to tears by many different stories in many different mediums, and I find it to be enriching, and I’m proud of that fact.

Presumably that’s a hoax, otherwise, oh my gods does someone need to get out more. I know I said it’s good fot people to be emotionally engaged but that’s taking it just a teeeeeny bit far If I’m right and it is a hoax then a round of applause because it’s hilarious
