This is going to be quite a topic and a work in progress for sometime as it can’t necessarily stay the same while video games sell more and more units everyday. But within this topic you’ll find all the numbers of units shipped of all video games that have gone platinum. For starters going platinum means shipping more than a million units.
At first I’ll only update with the 3 7th generation consoles and as I go along I’ll slowly start to incorporate all the rest til I have them all. As of now there are over 800 games that have gone platinum. All shipment figures from VGCharts database. I’m just bringing that here. Also I will only do total sales without region breakdown but later on I’ll add region breakdown. Also this is a topic to discuss titles that are on the verge of hitting 1 million and future titles that you think will achieve this goal.
