It’s called logic. Not everything has to be shown for you. By that logic, prove Gohan can hit Sephiroth because he has never fought any one by that name before. Seriously, he has comeplete control of the nega lifestream and can go intangible. It’s called a combo and even if he couldn’t, He puts Gohan in an illusion(Doesn’t matter if he knows it is one or not as the party knew too.) and while he is in the illusion he nega lifestreams him.

Sigh...Again, Sephiroth has an insane amount of regeneration AND durability. He can take something in FF7, that is stronger than a planet buster and he takes it for about 5 years while regenerating. Now AC Sephiroth has been stated to be the most powerful form so...yeah. He could easily do that to. Not only that but he has part of the planet’s power.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter if it’s just like running away or not. This doesn’t have to be an entertaining battle...That and Sephiroth could just hold back Gohan’s planet busting attack’s if he shoots any with TK as he did the same with Holy which was stated by that one guy to be able to destroy everything if need be.

Did I say that? No. I meant he could hold back at LEAST one of those. That is to say Gohan doesn’t get corrupted first. Besides that, Sephiroth could cast Heartless angel followed by a spell or heartless angel followed up by a really fast attack. Or intangibility+Negetive lifestream corruption.

Don’t forget Sephiroth’s barrier could tank like 7 city busters and DBZ characters will not usually just shoot one of those types of attacks out.

Yeah because he isn’t cocky. That was one of his only downfalls against Cloud. That and in CC, a meta human of Zack’s level can’t even phase Sephiroth. Thats pretty impressive considering that was Sephiroth’s weakest form WITHOUT the insane regeneration and durability.

No I’m not the fact is he has these abilties and a couple things.
1. Cloud is not weak by any means
2. PIS is what made Sephiroth not just kill Cloud right off, which he COULD have
3. Omnislash is above the power of the energy of the planet which is above planet busting and is also instant speed(As stated in the Ultimania)
Not only that but even after that omnislash, Sephiroth shows no signs of pain or cuts or anything. Anyway not only that but Sephiroth never tires so he could fight forever if he wanted to.

We know 2 things:
1. He has comeplete control over it
2. It is corrupted lifestream
SO we can assume that it can work in that way. Besides, we know it infects people with geostigma and if you want to get technical we don’t even know that the negetive lifestream touched them. We know that it CAN corrupt, we know it has to be in two ways, touching or non touching. If you want to go by whats shown, we don’t know so thus we could say it could be one way or the other.
The we do not know how long it would take to corrupt, we do know it will eventually happen and since Sephiroth never tires and Gohan does, then it might be sooner than you think. Let’s not forget the illusions that Sephiroth can cast.

Akira said he was the strongest non fused character so... And yes, Sephiroth>DBZ cast. Not because of flashy powers or galaxy busters but because of how durable,smart, and versitile he is. The only one I could see him not controlling is Buu and the mechanical androids. In which case Sephiroth would probably tie with them as they both never tire and can’t really hurt each other.

That would be incorrect, he summons it a a whim, in AC that black swirling stuff is the negative lifestream

Gohan does tire. He just doesn’t tire fast as for the corruption I think enough J-cells over a few minutes would do the trick. Also Sephiroth at AC level is a planet mover, pretty impressive spiritually. He could ram the planet they are on into another planet or something.
