if we dont talk about matrix revolutions files and names of files of films or anything like that then thise message board isnt going to be used half as much!

Why can’t we talk about that stuff anyway not as if it does any harm is it?

It does, since the agreements I am in (host, sponsors etc.) generally do not allow PROMOTING illegal activity.

Some people may want to discuss such files, I am sorry that they may need to go elsewhere - it is NOT the subject of this site / message board.

At the end of the day, we do not need to discuss the illegallity of certain movies we download.
We all know where to get them from in the first place.
Most of the questions come after like why no sound, blank screen etc.
You can still post your questions or solutions to these problems.
Like my problem with converting DivX movies which I posted yesterday.

I am really dissapointed how the forum works now, i think the webmaster should create a part in the forum just to talk about new movies and how to obtain them, i also think that if we cannot talk about the illegal stuff wtf is doing the file sharing part in the forum... i dont think ppl is gonna ask how to turn on kazaa or if you can find porn with imesh, i think that ppl think further than that and i think we disserve the right to talk about movies, since this is a movie forum.
this forum used to rule the internet, why dont make it again????

im with you abolition maybe you should create a certain forum for movie talkin cause i used to really like this site and i have know where else for forums such as this website used to have had and the forum really isnt gonna get used if files of movies and things things like that arnt talked about...is it?

To true, this site was very good in the past infact one of the best. From what you are now saying Bjarne looks like your goin to make this site one of the worst. If we wanted to talk about codec, encoding and ripping we would go to dvdhelp. Sort yourself out dont be such a wimp.

Sorry that you feel that way. Perhaps the rules sound a bit harder than they are, and perhaps I will moderate them a bit at some time.

I will not delete everything I see just because it mentions the name of a movie (please try to movie titles out of the topics).

Please cease this discussion :-) I have not made up my mind entirely on this matter. And do not flame me :-) I’m not a bad guy! (Ok not that bad anyway)

Hey I think if dude doesn’t want to incriminate himself in light of the numerous lawsuits currently ravaging people on the internet than that is his decision. I think if people could stop being so whiney and use a little discretion in their posting (ie not blatently talk about how they KNOW that their activities are illegal (ahem excuse me police officer if I were to tell you that I just walked out of that bank carrying 50,000 bucks that I took at gunpoint what would you have to say about thet???? hmmmm) I think dude is ok in not wanting to BROADCAST what he does is a perfectly legitimate request. So go back to kindergarten where idealism actually works, because if you haven’t noticed Napster announcing the immorality of the RIAA did not stop them from having to pay 2 million bucks in damages.

I started coming here a couple months before matrix 2 came out (some of you might rememeber me) there was tons of people all leading each other to warez, most of it really gay porn or something. Then there were tons of spammers that just spammed new threads for pages. So I quit coming.

This is a great place to learn about codecs and troubleshoot problems. I for one and glad you dont have any illigal stuff, I was expecting to see this place in a terrible state, but no, now it looks very promising. Matter O fact, I might have to start coming here!

I read an article in Time magazine recently about the recording industry. It said that if record prices had followed inflation the way the prices of other products had, an average CD price would currently be about $3. On the income generated from sales of $3 CDs, popular artists would still be able to make hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, the greed of the recording industry led it to raise prices far beyond the value of their products, and we are left with the choice of paying $20 or downloading for free. I believe that a similar trend can be seen in the movie industry. I understand that many industry insiders would say that these price hikes are needed in order to maintain profits, but I disagree and find their counterarguments simply unacceptable. I really believe that if the media industries hadn’t gotten greedy, they wouldn’t have this problem in the first place.

Finally, ...the site has been cleaned up. I’m glad we won’t have to endure 400 fucking posts about people claiming to have a movie that those of us with a brain know isn’t even remotely close to being on the net yet.
