i think when all said and done xbox will come out on top microsoft are just better at it than sony. plus sony are more in it for the money as in quick profit,where microsoft will just keep going profit or no profit.

NO there isnt a halo 2.5 they were thinkin it but it was a waist of time so they gave it up.
Also no the ps2 wont be better than xbox 2 because the only hting happening with ps3 is more final fantacrap games and blueray this blue ray that. And besides the prossesors wont veen be able to take up all the room on the blue ray therefor rendering it useless. And instead of complaining about cds microsoft is looking towards a hardrive witch ps3 is still not smart enogh to put and also live! and other things such as mp3 players. cd recordings, music etc.

Hasn’t anyone seen the different designs for PS3? they were published in magazine years ago. they were the prototypes so to speak. another thing, the spec on XBOX 2 compared to PS£ are way better, but i think Playstation again will have more titles, as they always had, XBOX don’t have that many. don’t know if any one knows yet, there are SUPPOSED to be three types of XBOX 2. not saying this is fact as of eyt, soon find out, release date for XBOX 2 is due for AUG/Sept 2005. Halo3 will be released also later this year, unsure whter it is released on XBOX or XBOX 2. the reason why it will be released this soon (instead of waiting two years)... is simply because most of the game was developed, they simply ran of time and Halo 2would have been too long.
Oh by the way GTA Hawaii... is a partial conversion of GTA (original) for the PC, created by a team who have modded the game. and im not saying this is definite but im pretty sure tghe next GTA in the proper series is not GTA Hawaii. Although if you go to the ten green bottles bar in ganton and look at the licence plates behind the bar, you can see, one of the plates say maoui which for you braindead people out there is Maoui, Hawaii USA. Anonymous tipster is spot on, although new style hard drive, which i don’t know too much about won’t be out for a while and also they can hold upto a terabyte of space (my draw dropped when i heared this documentory)PS3 will be using Blue ray, and it was speculated that microsft would use HD DVD which i think is more reliable but has less space. but plans are for XBOX 2 to still use standard DVD which sounds silly if they want they’re product to be adapdable for future devlopments. any one want to know more about XBOX 2 Specs let me know
The PS3 is no dought going to be a really good system, but XBOX 2 is being made by a computer company. Not only that, but a really good computer company. So any advances that they have made for there computers will most likely be incorporated into the XBOX 2.
both systems are equally as good. it all depends on what type of games you like. xbox fans die for metal gear while playstation fans die for halo. It all depends on what you want. both systems have almost equal sale. get what you want. if you’re a rich mo-fo buy both
IN CASE YOU DON’T KNOW, METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SUBSTANCE IS OUT FOR THE XBOX. I USED TO OWN IT, BUT AFTER I BEAT IT I SOLD IT TO BUY ANOTHER GAME. SO ANYTHING OUT FOR THE PLAYSTATION, WITH A FEW ACEPTIONS, WILL BE OUT FOR THE XBOX WITHIN A YEAR ANYWAY, SO THATS REALLY NOT A FACTOR ANYMORE.

PC components)) Same will be said with XBOX 2 & PS3 (except for the fact that Sony will use next gen disk drives) XBOX 2 - 5/6ghz, better graphics chipset, PS3 3.5/4ghz CPU.
the other factor - games although PS2 had wider range of games, most came out for xbox, Halo (although technically agianst the law, is bound to Microsoft platfroms.
so other than hardware. its choice, like choosing a firewall, normal home users don’t look at how tough the firewall is but how user friendly and popular they are. ZOne alarm for instance great firewall easy to use, however ping it to death it will fall.

true dat so i still stand by what i said though. I think we should all wait instead of trying to hang ourselves. but what i find kind of suspicious is that xbox is keeping alot of secrecy while ps3 is so confident that everything out in the open. who knows microsoft might still have a better hand.
