I mean, I guess if I had my own supernatural experience I may go into some form of spiritual worship but since I have never had one I guess I will remain the skeptic for now.

Personal experience is not evidence. People say they had personal experiences with every God ever created. But according to some religions there cannot be other Gods than the one portrayed in their religion. So personal experience is not evidence.

If it was people would could say that absolutely everything existed. Including the FSM whom people claim to have been touched be his noodly appendages.

Gods are what people consider holy and they also prey to and personally I believe in nature being god but as for ghosts I belive they exist and if I had the proof to show you my experiences i’d be more than happy too but I can’t.

Well, personal experience can be evidence for those who have had those experiences, but you also have to judge if the experience is genuine or not.

Like, if you fall out of a building and are stopped by an invisible force that you cannot explain, that would be evidence enough that there is more to the world than you can see. But such an experience cannot be used as evidence for other people.

But yeah, waaaay too many people have said to have had experiences that are completely bogus and contradictory.

I personally do believe in ghosts and supernatural themes, but that is based on my personal experiences and also my capacity for faith. I have seen someone healed of a crippling injury through prayer, and I have yet to find another way to explain it. But I don’t use those experiences as “proof” of such phenomena to present to other people unless they really trust me, as it requires faith to believe I am telling the truth.

I believe the only way to truly believe in these things if you do not currently have a capacity for faith (belief in the unseen) is to have a genuine personal experience. I also find the cutting edge of science and certain areas of science quite...well, it allows me to believe easier. You should read about Hyperspace Theory. It is related to Superstring Theory. It’s theoretical physics, but it is quite interesting. It puts a more “real” explanation on some supernatural phenomena.
