Wannabe Rep: 1 Joined: 04 Sep 2008 Posts: 21 OFFLINE | Just curious, not a do you believe in it question, but one of the emotional psychological foundations question? I.e. do you believe in it because it offers truer reality, or because it gives some sense of stability, or if you are religious it allows you to know your creator better.
This is not belief, just what do you get out it.
Me its more about how science allows me to see the grand and great vistas, the humbling largness of it all, and how the boundaries are removed to point where us on the planet seem rather small, even our Gods seem rather small in comparison.
This is what I get out it, am not interested in starting some argument over it, just list what you get out it personally. | |

Man has made a huge deal out of finding new things, without science it wouldn’t be possible. Without science there is no living. ---
