According to a CNN news update about 18 min ago it’s now been downgraded to a “tropical storm”. However, the impact on the coast has been devastating. Most of Houston is without power (which may be affecting 1outofDAinfinite). It could take 2-3 weeks for all the power to be restored. ---

Doubt it. The current stats on the storm is that 3 people died (at least 1 was in Galveston). He just may be without power for a while if he was one of the millions of people affected.
Add: Actually 1 fatality was a woman in Houston. It hit the coastline as a category 2 hurricane, but has become a tropical storm as it moves inland. ---
