the reason the version we have was made in nine months was because halo 3’s campaign was ment to be in halo 2, but MS came and said they wanted bungie to make a third halo for their new console, so they had to scrap all they had done and re make a quick bridge that would lead to halo 3.

Okay. I think Halo: Combat Evolved is better than Halo 2. Halo 2 i to simple. For example, in the campaign in Halo 2 I found hidden weapons and ammo..Yes that is also in Halo 1 but it is rare. I remember playing assault on the control room. I ran out of ammo... I was forced to kill something to get more ammo. In Halo 2 you can just look around and find it.

I actually think that halo 2 is the best game ever but it also sucks balls. Heres why...
I think playing halo 2 is fun when the competition is actually fair.Like when you play 2 vs 2 it always puts me with higher levels than me. THe only people who play halo0 any more are the experts. And the experts know how to melee atack someone when there 5 feet away. This part of the game really sucks. Its not like in halo 3 where if you get killed I can usually feel that i deserve to be dead, but in halo 2 90 percent of the time im screaming at the tv. But...Every 100 or so games i actually play someone thats my levle (22) and I actually enjoy the game. THe campaigne is awesome, I diagree with you on the smg thing. If you dual welde them and as soon as your about to hit the person you melee them it will always kill them. I wanted to get my oppion out about halo 2 thanks

So this is where all the console guys end up. Having read through pc forums, most people on here just seem a lil more retarded and uneducated. Sedah is a prime example. I’m not saying that all you guys on here don’t game on pc, because surely some of you do. But Halo IMHO is THE game for people that are challenged with coordination. I can’t beleive I came across the word “realisitic” in here. We are talking about halo no? Come on guys. the weapons being balanced? rofl.... I have many retarded friends that play Halo, ( and I openly make fun of all of them ), but when they try to play something like counter-strike, they whine and complain about it being so hard- how they can’t kill anyone- why they get killed with one shot to the dome...because well, guns do that...realistically speaking. And it takes actual skill and tactics to avoid gettin shot. Halo you can run around gettin blasted to hell for like 10 minutes point blank right in the EYE and live — -I love the realism there. In my humble opinion, I’d say a game like counter-strike is a hundred times better than that mess they call Halo. It’s just that console fanboys don’t know any better i guess. If they ever came out with game JUST like Halo on the PC, but with a different name, betcha hardly anyone would play it....well maybe some console guys that use USB controls for first person shooters... LOL!

Oh, btw, I wasn’t insinuating that cs was “realistic” but alot more so than Halo. With every aspect of the game. And Halo 3? Who cares. I actually took the time to play it and well, it was just as boring, bland and unoriginal as the other two retard baits. Better graphics? Psssh. Not so great. GOW has alot better graphics - and it definately wasn’t something my 8800 can’t do. I normally don’t trash on stuff like this. But I remember the day Halo 1 came out..... I was laughing then and I remember thinking whenever some retard mentioned that game being “the best” or “its better than”.....wow.. or was it ...how? Anyway, I’m still laughing because I bet you the current fan base for the Halo franchise only consists of the very same people that liked the first one. Meaning no new fans better graphics or not. Clearly no reason for me to convert. Easily the MOST OVER-RATED game..no..series in this generation. I could design a game consisting of stick figures that carry guns and ride in carts and call it Gaylo, and it would be just as fun.

been gaming all my life. I’m 27. Grew up on consoles. Saw, the light and went another direction. But still play both. Halo is the most generic looking, feeling gaming ever. No brilliance put into it. It’s just the fact that it was introduced as the only “working” console first person shooter at the time. Otherwise it’s crap. In my opinion liking that game requires as little taste is it does skill. And those 5/5 and 10/10’s well, the same tasteless fans most likely voted way more than once. Not only that, it’s probablly the same group of people whenever each new gaylo comes out - NO NEW FANS!
