They may be “fun” for some (again...the same people that lack skill and coordination to play real fps.) but for people that can atleast tie their shoes while talking at the same time require something a little less forgiving. Well, at least you’re not ranting on about Gaylo being the BEST, but the comments left by our little halo fans including you show that the fanbase of this franchise (typically) lacks vocab - hence the “You Suck” phrase you see a million times in this thread. Those are the kinds of fans that Gaylo typically attracts. The no brains, no thinking, no education, no vocab, no taste, and... *ahem* - no skill types of people.
It saddens me that they took a game like Halo and then spent all this time “improving” it and then handing this awful game to us. It hurts for me to say that too, I was a genuine fan of Halo and played it religiously. I feel let down.
There’s no shame is some rehash, if anything the weapons felt good enough, people just wanted more. That was the biggest mistake.
The game feels blunt, the movement is dull, the melee is even worse than Halo, at least in Halo you felt the reward of landing a good punch, even if it favoured the server host.
I can safely say that Halo 2 was not made for the fans, the developers, programmers and crew may have done their best to make it so, but in the end the ones who control the money, the management people sealed its fate with their greed.
and for those of you who are offended by people who don’t like Halo 2 and that you feel it is a great game (and you got your money’s worth), congratulations. You have fallen sucker to the dollar that the management people were so keen to lift from your wallet. You can thank your ignorance for that.

So if you think about that, how in hell can even HL2 be a copy of Halo 2 when CS Source is not much different than CS? BTW, Microsoft launched Gaylo in response to the massive popularity of counter-strike made just to cater to tasteless fruit baskets like yourself. So to be correct, Halo in acutality, is the wannabe copy competition of Counter-Strike. Kinda makes me wonder if you get massive headaches for being so dumb.

I agree with the original post. I love Halo:CE so much... when Halo:2 came out i was so disappointed. Of course the game LOOKS ok... but the FEEL is down right boring. It feels as if the whole game was toned down in terms of weapons. Grenades do much less damage, melee hits feel like light slaps, and my favorite pistol is unusable, unless dual wielded. I feel like the game lost it’s shine, which was one of the things that kept Halo:CE attractive. The campaign’s story was pretty dull and not really memorable. You rarely felt any reward for doing anything and presentation of characters were unsatisfying. Was anyone annoyed by the crosshair movement being placed at the bottom third of the screen? For example when fighting enemies, feet and lower parts of the bodies are cut off and your screen is focusing on the sky. Really annoying for me…
Kids...Seriously....Ive been running with the mlg tours since halo 1. Halo name was scythe, halo 2 was ET Sparten117. Since it likes like most of you just got your ass kicked on a game of halo2,and decided to come here and relieve your stress, i dont think your opinions matter. Halo 2 is a skillfull game, along with halo 1. Halo 1’s campaign , I do admit was better , But i do NOT think that halo involved more skill. Ive gamed with all the pros, yes they like halo 1 way more, but that does not mean that it involved more skill, it means they like the pistol that took 2-3 shots for a kill, as where halo 2 you have to use somthing other than that damn pistol. Now which sounds more skillfull, picking up the same pistol for every single game, or being forced to use a variety of weapons, like what theyre doing with halo 3. Theres no doubt that anyone who was good at halo 1 and 2 will be good at halo3 (which will be released on Sept. 25) and it will be no doubt the most skillfull,strategy based game of halo so far, at least until halo wars but thats another topic. But to all the nubs who think halo is a game that does NOT take skill, play online, make a record of how many times you get beat, and think about if it they were lucky every single game they kicked your sorry ass around, or if mabey they are a bit better than you.

LOL...How can u say with a straight face Halo games take skill??? LMFAO..You mean, it takes PRACTICE....a lot of it to get somewhere near decent at maneuvering around effectively while not looking like rigid droids? And even at that, people still move around like they are robots. I get a headache just trying to “watch” someone play Halo, or for any fps shooters on a console. The only reason it just SEEMS like Halo requires any kind of skill is the fact that since using a controller is so akward, clumsy and NOT effective, it’s automatically a feat on its own. Besides, bragging about being in a clan for such a game is just like bragging about winning the special olympics. Once you start to see servers with 360 users and pc users in the same servers, you will definately know what I mean. You “pros” will get your ass handed to you....Plain and simple... You can only get so good with a controller...NOT very good.
