to have the abilities to shape and develop the highly manipulatable environment to build custom spaces either individually, collaboratively, and/or competitively is EPICNESS!

So Disappointing that I didn’t get into the beta that would have been so cool...oh well just have to wait until it comes out in just under a month (CANT WAIT!)

Question is though, will LBP live up to the hype? From what I understood, Spore was somewhat lacking and didn’t fully deliver what was expected of it.
hope LBP doesn’t do the same. I hope it’s going to be the PS3’s 'defining title'
From what I’ve seen, it will most likely live up to it’s hype.

I actually found funny, is that Spore delivered exactly what it said it would. It was the consumers fault for imagining something different than what was made.
The game, I realized, is designed to be a huge sand box full of crazy fun tools to allow you to entertain yourself. It allows your creativity to run rampant as you create your own story for you race.
Many people bought this game expecting it to entertain them without having to work for it. Kinda having the mindset that it would be a “game” like the others they’ve played in the past, but innovative. They were probably disappointed to find out that they actually bought a very modern set of painting and modeling tools that required the user to be creative to get the most out of the game.

Lots of reviewers also reviewed it for it’s gameplay elements and ignored the editors, which are the biggest part of the game.
