ok go to google and serch metroid and then search halo here are the results

Halo-9,410,000 thats a damn big number

metroid-1,320,000 for a series with 7 titles thats a little weak

then look a sales halo2 sold over 125 million on its first sales day thats about 2,500,000 copies on the first day mind you

metroid- in the first week it sold 250,000 copies

thats less in a week than halo did in a day tell me wich is the better game

i dont know metroid is a good game but halo is like a copy of metroid 'cause when all my freinds play metroid there like wow this is a hell alot like halo il say metroid

yes just pitter patter around those numbers you cant ignor them halo is the greatest game metroid has nothing incomon with halo and judging by those numbers the genral population agrees that halo is a better game

My cousin has a game cube and he has prime and it took darn long to beat the the second planet. I like halo better even no i only have it for pc because theres action pretty much every where in metriod u go miles without an enemy. Halo 1 is better then halo 2 i agrree with that

Can anybody explain to me what the storyline in Halo 2 is, because to me it just looks like a cyborg killing some lizard aliens then teaming up with them to kill a guy with a giant hammer. Now thats not what I call a plot.

Halo is a rippoff of Metroid, as someone already stated and here’s why:
1. Fancy armor
2. Human race being puched back
3. The evacuation in Halo 1 (almost all Metroid games have self destruct)
4. Cyborgs
And more will come!

I have’nt played metroid prime so could you explain the game 2 me and some stats about there weapons,wehicles and characters/PLZ/
Oh and then i might understand why Halo copied metroid prime(I DON’T THINK THEY WOULD DO THAT ANYWAY!!!!)

I said this on the Samus vs. MC when it was a sensible forum to respond to...Just because Halo has more hits than Metroid, doesn’t mean anything. It’s called commercialism. Which is more porpular, XBox or Gamecube? XBox wins hands down. I’m not an XBox fan, by the way, but the reason why an XBox is more popular is, as I said, commercialism, but also conformity. Hands up all those Gamecube owners who were embarrassed to say that they had a Gamecube as one of their consoles. I know I was. That is because to own an XBox is more conformal, or the “in” thing. This all comes from commercialism. It’s like the iPod and the M:Robe (by Olympus) which one would you be more criticised for having? The iPod or the M:Robe? In fact, the slogan for the M:Robe is “Un:Conform”, obviously referring to the iPod, and to break away from the normal.
Back to the topic, Halo is on the XBox, the more conformal console, and is more popular. That is why it has more hits on google.com.

Here’s more to add to that list:
5. Have any of you realised the remarkable similarities between the Flood Infection and Metroids? Both are little, globular-shaped parasitic organisms that drain or take something from the host. In the Flood’s case, the control and will over your own body; in the Metroid’s case, Life energy.
6. Both Samus and John 117 were somehow separated from their parents and trained combat skills from a young age.
7. Both were somehow enhanced to give better abilities.

Oh, and Halo Guy, Metroid Prime (1) is about a Meteorite hitting a planet called Tallon IV, and effecting the indigenous bird race called the Chozo. They are very intelligent, they made Samus' Suits. This meteorite had a mutagen element called Phazon. It ruined their lives, and so the remainder of the Chozo leave for another planet. Before they left, they sealed a creature of unspeakable power, the Metroid Prime in a temple above the imapct crater. Zebesians (Space Pirates) found out about Phazon, and its warfare and energy potential, and started mutating creatures (including Metroids). That’s a very very quick overview.
