Communism may fund equal amounts of money towards schools and hospitals but I don’t belive I want a dictator type of leader because that’s what communism can bring. This is all an opinion in a thread that won’t get answered on til 2015!

I would love a communist world, unfortunately communism depends on the selflessness and kindness of everyone and there are too many selfish people in the world to pull it off, a shame realy

Let’s see, U.S.A is a capitalism based country, china is a communist based country...never used to be too...
By the way capitalism has never improved.. it has decreases, same with republican’s party.

Capitalism is seriously not working for most countries at all, and very few have it.. U.S.A’s government(republicans)have decreased capitalism in a number of way’s and I don’t even need proof...
Just look at how U.S.A has been over the past 8 years..

Well thanks for getting back on-topic with communism.. but communism never works and what I was trying to say is that the republican party has really lowered the expectations of capitalism.
At least for america anyways.

Full on communism might lead to bad things, but I have to laugh when I hear people attacking Obama for socialist policies and bringing up rubbish “slippery slope” arguments.

America is already a socialist democracy, it has been for a very long time. In fact, most successful capitalist countries on earth are also socialist. Oh, and national healthcare and benefits don’t lead to manifestos and dictatorships, no more than any other policies do.

Communism is an outdated form of government, like most of the forms of government today. Communism isn’t as bad as America made it seem during the Cold War, but it still uses the monetary system and produces scarcity, which always leads to problems that politicians can’t fix.

i think communism can work
for a short time.
you also need a ruthless leader that would even kill his own friends to get the job done,
at first, everyone is happy, they all have different jobs supporting each other
but, after a few generations people realize they dont need to go to school to get a paying job, a brain surgeon gets the same amount of money as a burger flipper
so no one goes to school, and in long term the economy falls apart
but, with a ruthless leader(like stalin) the leader FORCES you to take school, and all jobs needed to support the economy are filled

i dont believe in communism however, becouse it would suck to be a citizen, and the system always ends up crashing
