I hate all NEW rap. R&B, and Hip-Hop, and things like “drop it like it’s hot”. They all suck because they’re produced enmasse, and they’re not good... infact terrible comrared to bands like fallout boy, My chemical romance, Green day... heck, even the Beatles! What kind of rap I DO like is old school rap, where the lyrics are not dumb-assed ghetto shit! I like Will smith’s “party starter”, and Emenem’s “Mosh”.

MTV plays too much rap. For every 5 rap songs, the play 1 rock song... and MTV never plays any music anymore, anyway. they always show things like damage control, or date my mom, but you have to catch them from, like, 6-8 to see any music.
And for people with digital cable, the 24 hour MTV music thing (on channel 234) They always only play rap...but why? most people like rock, mainly because it is less dry, and gets those endorphines running...I HATE MTV now.
I gotta say Rap. I see NOTHING wrong with rock, but 'screamo' and like, 'death meatal' screaming in deep distorted voices about blood and motherfuckers and undertakers n hell n stuff,..that shyt is WACK AS FUCK. lol I fukn hate that music....punk is catchy, but as a lifestyle, fuk no. I’ve fought punk kids before n they just act like they’re inna mosh pit n get knocked the fuk out....lmao....rap is the mu-fukn shyt...not all rappers are ill though(weezy)...some are(pac, biggie, nas, jay-z, meth man, redman, bone thugs, d-block, d-block, and d-block, eminem, slim shady, marshall mathers, busta mutha fukn rhymes, maaddd fukn ppl.....but not wayne, yung berg, dolla, joel ortiz, madd south rappers (nd im from miami n I still say alot of south niggaz is garbage) n way more wack ppl....rock, its just old KoRn, Disturbed, Tenacious D of course(The Metal), RHCP, GunsNRoses, SOAD, shyt like that...anyways fuk rap haters n fuk rock haters

1) Don’t confuse rock with metal.
2) Has any rapper produced something more magnificent than “Bohemian Rhapsody” or “Stairway to Heaven”? If you’re going to compare rock to rap don’t use shit rock bands use good ones at least or it’s not a fair comparison.
3) Classical is better than both of them anyway :P No rap song can beat Beethovens 9th, La Gazza Ladra Overture, Requiem for a Dream, Handel’s “Messiah” or Ride of the Valkyries. I know rap takes some skill, but compared to stuff like rock, metal and classical it’s easy as breathing.
EDIT: No, I’m not a “rap hater”. I like some rap, but some genres are just so much better...

I am a death metal fan, and I take offense. I could say the exact same about rap. It is all stereotyping. Death metal does not scream, they growl, and there is not distortion on the voice.
not all rock is just screaming only some and what the fucks wrong with screaming? it just expressis emotion and before your going to diss it, try it most people with even practice still cant do it the way they do. also arent you rap fans the assholes who turn your speakers up so loud your cars shake?
