A. In order to snap to attack, Roy has to lift his arm. He doesn’t have superhuman speed, so Zuko should get his arm up to punch or block in time.
B. Roy uses fire-based attacks. Zuko will not be completely immune to it, no, but he will have some resistance.
C. Zuko’s firebending defenses have tanked explosion before. Examples: When the pirates blew up his ship, and a blast from Combustion Man. | |

the circles on his gloves allow him to do different alchemy, fire is just his favorite. as long as he claps before attacking, im sure he can do a number of things...
