both handheld systems lack a large number of good games, but ya the PSP is better at this point, but i think the new DS will be great if it has the things IGN said it has...
More than likely no. Nintendo wouldn’t show a Zelda trailer at an event like this. Not even mainstream media following it. Zelda although is a likely candidate to be shown behind doors though if they do it at this event.

Big Announcement! More Mario Games to come!
Theres the conference.
Wouldn’t be unlikely. Super Mario Baseball on the Wii was the last one they’ve announced. Between that the last Mario game to release was SMG. Meaning Ninty has not released a lot of Mario games for Wii haha.
Alright before I go through the rest... no there is no stream. But the even starts at 1:30 PM in Japan on October 2nd. That’s equivalent to 12:30 AM EST, or this forum’s time.
There might be a few live blogs... but you can expect IGN to cover it at least after the news is out. Just hang around the internet at that time... I’m sure info will leak.
Also anything I say or IGN says is purely speculation. But there are 2 things we both know. One there will be a new DS model. Multiple media sites have confirmed this. And secondly it will not be a show similar to E3 because its smaller scale and Ninty got banged hard because of it. Expect games like Disaster and Fatal Frame IV to be shown along with AC and Wii Music. And always possibility of a new Wii game.
As I said I don’t know what to expect along the lines of big announcements but there is a strong chance of a new Wii game being announced and as I said positive about the DS model announcement unless ninty pulls it last min.

I’m guessing some whole new extension, like a Wii fit, but something different. I have no clue what, but I know Nintendo is all about expanding right now, so don;t be surprised if it’s something like that.
Actually Miyamoto said that Wii Music is the last of the Wii series. Wii Chess is moving to Wiiware by the way. He said those were the only ones ever planned. Now maybe later they’ll come up with another in the wii series sequel wise, such as Wii Sports Resort, but as for new ones that seems to be done.
