BUT, they add these devices because it’s a proven technique to work..

Trunks meets Goku, challenges him, they both go SUPERSAIYAN, vegeta is JEALOUS BADLY, Trunks attack,s Goku OWNS the defense with TWO fingers( DON"T get the WORNG IDEA from “TWO FInger"s, like some1 else once did)...andGOku is able to hold out , stronger likely if not assuredly

Sonic meets Silver, (so does SHadow at some point), a watered down sonic( i guess Yuji’s doing) is nearly murdered, l8r, SHadow STEPS in , and uses his preferred techniques ot whomp on silver.....silver used PK, way DIFF from SOnic, who was watered down..sivler was slow, sonic fast....WAY diff in context than Trunks, and GOku, who are silimar,(CEPT Sword, but goku MAKES UP for it with his energy, !!), but htey both shoot ki blasts, etc....

get my drift? these comparisions are misintrepreted quite a bit here and there
