This isn’t a regular versus match. Thing is among all the comics that I’ve managed to read, I’ve never managed to enjoy any single story than The Sandman. To give an idea of my tastes, my favourite:

5. The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween
6. American Splendor: Our Cancer Year
7. Calvin and Hobbes & Garfield
8. Saga of the Swamp Thing
9. Bone
10. X-Men: The Dark Phoenix Saga

I haven’t read Akira and Maus yet.
