Twist things? What have I twisted? I’m pretty damn sure I’ve read about these events in the bible.

Satan doesn’t give you knowledge for your benefit. He’s trying to get you in trouble though by using what we call logic and reason. God guides us to the path of salvation telling us what we must do to get to heaven. I know some of you aren’t christians but humor me here. If Satan was really a big hero he wouldn’t convince people to do things that would send them to hell.

It’s funny how religion never wants people to say god when they always say satan...which is something religion doesn’t like.
Satan is just a made up science fiction character used for churches anyways...

Why do you use words like “homophobic when describing God? One mistake a lot of nonchristians make is using standards to judge man against God. God loves the sinner but hates the sin thats why he went on that suicide mission. Satan wants you to do what EVER you want. Seriously think about everything you’ve ever wanted to do. Nothing is bad or good according to satan’s logic that he been feeding people. God isn’t a sexist actually women are supposed to get special treatment if God’s law is followed correctly.

God gave you the free will to believe that. Satan is trying to exploit it so you don’t follow the path toward salvation.

Imagine a young child who is being babysat by their jealous older sibling. The jealous sibling tells the little kid that its okay to eat a bunch of junk food before dinner. Gives the child a bunch of logical reasons why eating all that junk food is bad and convinces the little kid. Now the kid is aware that their parents aren’t going to be happy about what he just did and knows that his parents don’t want him eating junk food before dinner. And eventually he finds himself to be sick and can’t eat his dinner since he ruined his appitite. The older sibling telling his younger sibling to eat the junk food is similar to how satan “enlightens” us about why its okay to sin.

One question...since you didn’t use god in there, are you saying satan gave us the logic of learning lessons? If we were to do something bad once like eating junk food wouldn’t we learn our lesson...because we gain more knowledge when we learn lessons... and if god doesn’t give us that knowledge, we can’t learn.

Chrstianity does give you free will because God wants you to follow him on your own. If he didn’t then we’d all be robots. Your freewill is why you believe what you believe and why I believe what I believe which just so happens to be God’s word.

God already gave us that knowledge through the word of God so we wouldn’t have to suffer the scars of learning from experience. Like don’t put the fork in the toaster. You put it in their anyways and you get shocked and potentially have to suffer through some medical condition. In many cases its best not to ask questions and just do what your told.
