Unless I’m under a rock somewhere, this shiz caught me by surprise.

3-D EDITING!?

Oh hellz yeah. Too bad I’m too flipping poor to shell out $1000 to make sigs... :/

over 60% of photoshop users didnt pay for it

i cant wait for cs4 to come out!!!!! and i thought it reached its limit!!!!

3d editing isnt quite what i think u think it is, ps cs3 has 3d editing, like you can take a picture of a building and extend its height and it will do the perspective thing for u

YOu can discuss legal torrents, and the trials are released on pirate bay as well as their official site.

As for the whole surprise thing..I too was surprised to see an occurance of cs4 being announced.

Cant wait..got to get me some cs4.

Damn I’m greedy, already got me cs, cs2 pro, cs3 professional extended and as soon as this baby is released..ima gonna get cs4!

According to this, it actually allows you to paint onto a 3-D image. A.K.A. you import a 3-D object into CS4 and you can edit it there. At least that’s how I understood it.

And, NO! I didn’t pay for CS3. I don’t even use it or have it installed.

Nice loophole btw, firewolf. wink

EDIT: I was right, CS4 Extended allows for actual 3-D editing of meshes and the like. So, I figure a few versions with some 3-D updates, they may try to compete with 3-D design tools. Probably not as far as Maya or ZBrush though. Actually, it seems to be doubling as a general-purpose CAD tool.

IT DOES RAY TRACING!? O.o
