He used shin gong wu in a lot of those scenes.
But other than that I’m convinced that he’d put up a good fight but aang would come out on top. Raimundo’s best accomplishment I saw was where he became one with his element. At this point his power was at his peak. Yet aang would bend him if he took on that form.

Aang can be as violent as he wants, as long as it doesn’t involve killing anyone. I don’t recall Rai killing someone either.
