"Raptor” is pretty vague. It’s clear you’re talking about the dinosaur, but which type. Do you mean Stephen Spielberg’s fictional version of Velociraptor (which is about the size of real life Deinonychus)? The real thing? Utahraptor?

If it’s real life Velociraptor, the bear will make MINCE MEAT out of it. It actually only weighed about 15kg and was the size of a small dog. Deinonychus (or JP Velociraptor) would be like a lion fighting the bear, but I still put the bet on the bear. Only Utahraptor could convincingly win being as it was a HUGE species standing over ten feet in height.

Dude, you lost this thread by putting “one on one” lol

If you had said raptor vs grizzly bear, you could have had more fun! lol

B/c then you are not stating how MANY raptor?

B/c if one raptor really went up against a bear, you know he would have like 5 or 6 “friends” out there waiting to “back him up” and then yeah, the raptor definitely wins...which is how it would be in real life.

However, this is a thread and you said “one on one” so.....

Yeah, the Bear eats the Raptor. smiley

Bear destroys an average raptor one on one. If there were a pack of raptors, thats a different stories.

One on one means no grouping, pal.

Yea, I thought that was pretty self explanatory, too.

Of course no grouping, I know that. I was being funny. lol

And sorry, a group of bears would lose to a group of raptors.

They are wayyyyy to intelligent.

Naaa, I group of bears would over power the raptors (Assuming the bears have an equal amount of heads on their side compared to the raptors)

I don’t know man! The raptors were determined to be the most intelligent Dinosaurs.

So, they’d formulate a stragedy to beat the bears.

Yea but if they all were equal ETC: 20 Bears (Grizzly’s, I assume) Vs 20 Raptors Even with a formula I Just dont see how they can win in a straight up fight.

Well, yeah, of course. But that is how the Raptors attack anyway, in an ambush type of way.

Bears are probably slow anyway, in terms of fighting ability and I KNOW they wouldn’t be as intelligent as a raptor.

So, I’d still have to go with the Raptors here, unless one on one. Too much power in a bear.

You know why people warn travellers to play dead when bear comes? Becaues they are very fast, probably fast if not faster than raptors.
