If it’s real life Velociraptor, the bear will make MINCE MEAT out of it. It actually only weighed about 15kg and was the size of a small dog. Deinonychus (or JP Velociraptor) would be like a lion fighting the bear, but I still put the bet on the bear. Only Utahraptor could convincingly win being as it was a HUGE species standing over ten feet in height. --- KALIMAAAAR! KALIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

If you had said raptor vs grizzly bear, you could have had more fun! lol
B/c then you are not stating how MANY raptor?
B/c if one raptor really went up against a bear, you know he would have like 5 or 6 “friends” out there waiting to “back him up” and then yeah, the raptor definitely wins...which is how it would be in real life.
However, this is a thread and you said “one on one” so.....
Yeah, the Bear eats the Raptor.

And sorry, a group of bears would lose to a group of raptors.
They are wayyyyy to intelligent.

So, they’d formulate a stragedy to beat the bears.

Regular Rep: 17 Joined: 06 Oct 2008 Posts: 729 OFFLINE | Well, yeah, of course. But that is how the Raptors attack anyway, in an ambush type of way.
Bears are probably slow anyway, in terms of fighting ability and I KNOW they wouldn’t be as intelligent as a raptor.
So, I’d still have to go with the Raptors here, unless one on one. Too much power in a bear.

You know why people warn travellers to play dead when bear comes? Becaues they are very fast, probably fast if not faster than raptors.
