Which is 160 times the capacity of a single-layer Blu-ray Discs

I never said it would be used in the Xbox 3.

And they are losing money on the 360.

And it’s still bigger then B;u-ray, and the price will be reasonable in a few years.

reasonable enough to be used in entertainment systems? i think not! if blu-ray costs like 700 quid and thats 247gb, then how will a 3.9tb disc be at least under a grand?

DVDs did go down in price. You can buy a DVD bundle for less then 20$ at times, and there are DVD players at like 35$.

None of you 360 loving semi-literate misinformed people have a clue what your talking about. Not that it matters really, people will buy what they wish and if that wish is the inferior, add on requiring, underpowered, cheapo option then go ahead, buy as many 360’s as you can. Nobody gives a toss. I mean really people, if you were happy with the console choice you have made then you wouldn’t be defending your purchase so vehemently to a bunch of strangers on this silly forum. I have a PS3 and I’m happy with it, I think it’s great and will only improve when more games are available. The online updates are improving it all the same and great things are on the way (Haze MGS4 etc). Go out and get laid or something, get some sun on your skins and have a beer for f**ks sake.

I think it’s so true about gamers not being of quality anymore. I tend to be more of an xbox fan because I truly love Halo, but I also see alot of games on the Playstation 2 and 3 that I would love to have, such as Devil may cry series, and the RPG games on the PS seem to be better than on the xbox. As for the memory issues, I think that 250 by xbox is a bit of an overkill, but at least it has the processing power to handle about any kind of graphics without slowing down. My favorite games though are still the originals, like Final Fantasy’s, and a lot of the old console games for nintendo and super nintendo. I had my xbox moded and have about every game from every system up to the ps2 and xbox system on it’s hard drive, and I find myself playing them more often than even halo. True gamer’s don’t give a crap about the system so much as the game itself.

sorry, i’m just looking for the best system. i’m not into gaming or anything, i just like to have fun w/ friends u know. i have an xbox, so the 360 sounds like it’d be smart, that way i can play my old games but i’ve played the ps3 before and i liked it. so any info on both would really help me out.

ok people the ps2 was a real success hen it came out but dont think that the sony company is going to have all the good stuff always. I have seen the ps3 and is not a bad sistem but im my opinion xbox 360 has good points too. you talk alot about numbers inside the machines but actually is the cuality of the programing that makes the difference. if the hardware is difficult to work with there is a posibility that they never make the games better even if the machine has alot of power. I’m not saying that the ps3 is a bad sistem but I have seen both of them side by side working and believ they both have great points. the quality of the programing on both istems are incredibly good. I recomend that you buy the one that has the games you want because both sistems are great.

hvd? i’m gunna check that out. if those are coming out and the price goes down in a few years then there really is no reason to switch from dvd yet.

10 years? is that the estemated time frame for hvd and tapestry media? the currend price tag of the player is over $15,000. I’m guessing it’s a long way from the mass market. 6 years ago a decent size plasma was around ten G’s. now a decent 42” lcd can be found for about 1,800. i’m guessing 8 to 9 years. still, abit to far off.
