Apple has a better O.S than windows, so I’d be fine, because like a smart guy, I own both mac and windows. If only I could say the same for the console world (PS2). But people, you have to understand this: If it weren’t for the GPUs in PS2 or Xbox or Gamecube, then they’d be the slowest crap on the market. So for this current generation, you should’ve been thinking about nvidia and ATI, instead of Sony and Ms, which is why I got an ATI 9800. And since PC gets almost every sports (EA) game from the consoles, I’m filled already. And, since Call Of Duty, Metal Of Honor (most of them) scrapland, breed... the list goes on and on. So, PC beats the hell out of consoles. Apple would beat PC if there were more games coming out for apple first, and other applications (band in a box, etc.) coming out for apple first. so check out a G5, with Tiger, and you’ll see what I mean.

The xbox has one big advantage over the ps2, modability
with a 250gb hdd in mine, 13 emulators, 60 xbox games etc etc I just hope the same stuff can be done with the next one.

Okay okay, I’m new here so I want to see what you guys think about this. From here it looks like Xbox 360 will implement the best technology currently available, and while this is DAMN powerful, I don’t really think that this can compare to the innovation of IBM’s new chipset. These cell chips will most likely own your soul and subjegate your mother, IMO. Of course, I’ll be buying both, but I think that eventually Sony will come out ahead but both will remain VERY popular. I heard from a bit of an insider that some Sony guys are very confident that they have developed a Halo killer; however, they said the same thing about Killzone and that...well...uh...yeah...nevermind about that game.
