Ok this has gone far enough. Master chief is indeed underpowered in halo 2. unless u playing in normal. In multiplayer it is also underpowered to make the battles less lasting. I till think though that samus armor is waaaayyy stronger than master chief’s armor. It is infused with technologie the Chozo have gathered during all the milenia they have been alive. The power suit itself is stronger than aster chief’s armor. But not as impervious, that is why samus has the varia suit, to make her inculnerabel to enviormantal factors. then there is the phazon suit or light suit that could make master chiefs armor and shield look like plastic wrapping being compared with reinforced titanium with carbon infused iron. The only thing master chief would have that could kill samus would be a rocket launcher blast. (would take like 10) I still gotta find out if master chief’s armor is less or more affected by each os samus’s shots. (Plasma, Ice, Wave, Power, Dark, Hyper, Phazon, Light,or ANHIALATOR beam. I think a clean shot with wave beam would overload the shields and 2 shots of power beam would finish him. Has anybody even bothered asking which beam combo could kill mastef in one shot? it would be the dark one, ice one, light one and most of all the “SONIC BOOM” that can make small cities disapear with one shot. So if compared to what what-his-face said if an elite has a less powered shield, and a space pirate comando, elite, phazon, dark andomega can survive a blast of the all powerful beam combos, i can conclude that space pirates re tougher than elites or hunters. (the only beam combo a comando wont survive is a sonic boom the rest of e can survive all of em)
[dont even try saying samus’s beams are not strong. BECAUSE A PLASMA SHOT CAN BLOW AN ELITES FACE OF IN ONE SHOT, SO WOULD A LIGHT BEAM OR DARK BEAM.]

I would believe the book if nothing contradicted what happened in the movie.
If there were contradictions, I would go with the movie since it came first.

The reason the bug-like creatures in Metroid can survive the power beam is:
- They have been mutated by phazon or made more powerful by pirates
- It’s 20X05 AD. They have evolved highly sopisticated exoskeletons.

No, they aren’t. There is no Phazon in the area that they are located.

The planet was hit by a meteor composed of pure phazon. The whole planet became infected.

No, Aether wasn’t. The Splinters are on Aether. The Beetles are on Tallon IV.

Aether was also hit. That’s how Dark Aether was formed.

Pirates came to Aether for phazon. They didn’t bring it.

LOL What in the hell does 20X05 AD mean for galaxy time? Nothing! Just as the Forunners built the Halo rings hundreds of millions of years before the Covenant and man even existed. The current time of Earth has no bearing on how much a species has evolved nor does it define technology on a galactic measure of time in space when compared to other species elsewhere in the universe.
