I would just like to say something to the people that are madly defending halo here: While Halo 2 is an amazing game, half-life 2 is superior in every way, shaper, and form. Everyone assumes that xbox is the only gaming platform, but they are wrong. All you mainstream people should go and try half-life 2. If you like it, then please reply. If you do not, well, fine. Just because some black dude with a doo rag dude says that:" Yo, dawg! Halo 2 rules, mother f****r!" doesn’t mean that halo 2 is the best game out there.

I think that Gordan Freeman is an interesting charector. He is not really a defined person, though. He is basically you, the player. He is not a specific person with charectoristics all of his own. This is what makes Half-Life 2 so unike. You are always imersed in the world and in the story. You are never taken out of the experience to view a cut-scene like in Halo 2.
you can’t compare the 2 because Half life 2 is on pc so the comsmetic side of the game is as good as your computer. But yes half life 2 is a better game with a better plot.
plus voted game of the year by numerous video game awards, and that really huge awards show that meant alot to gaming companies if they won anything. I forgot what it was but even for a big deal awards show, it was pretty hush hush.
