Link would win the match. Granted Cloud has a vast array of materia at his disposal it’s really a matter of actual skill. Remember, Cloud was only a grunt in the Shinra Army.

Zucas u really are an idiot if u think that....ppl only say that link can beat cloud because they like him better but its not about who u like its about the truth about who’s stronger...u really need to go play ff7 or watch his latest movie if u did and u still think that link can beat cloud then u really are a stubburn idiot that cant realize the fact that link has no powers wat so ever.....
What you don’t think Link could own. Obviously you have never played Majora’s Mask where he puts on the Diety Mask and becomes Fierce Link. That Link could own anyone. I mean he destroyed a whole moon in that form.

i totally agree with sephiroth i mean it is silly to think link can beat a super soldier like cloud FF chars are way out of link’s league Cloud doesnt even need a sword to defeat link one punch from cloud would WRECK link up.
Well I’m not here to argue about something as silly as this but I’m still going with Link cause this dude owns. I mean the mass amount of weapons he has and the overral skill he has is incredible.

that maybe true about omni link destroying a moon ive played all of the zelda games i kno how strong link is but that still dont mean shit compared to cloud defeating sephiroth cloud would obliterate every char in zelda history all at the sametime thats how sad it is.
oh...yeah anywho links bosses have much power like thegiant worm he has to fight, or shadow gannon, or a wizrobe

Me and my friends have discussed this quite a bit actually, but in the end Link would win, he has bombs, more sword skill then Cloud, and lots of projectiles... plus in the Orcarina of Time he had Narue’s Love which made him invincible for a set amount of time, if Cloud couldn’t do any damage to Link then how is he supposed to win?
Oh and Sephiroth... I like FF7 more than the Legend of Zelda, and Clud more than Link so you can’t say anything to me.

I say that Cloud would beat Link. Cloud has loads of materia for one thing... if he has final attack phoenix equipped then even if Link did kill him he’d come back to life and a big phoenix would come along and burn Link at the same time. Plus Cloud has far better sword skill. He can block bullets with his sword! And he has his attack he does in AC where he gets about 20 swords to all fly into his enemy at the same time. Could Link survive that??? NO!
