I hope I have, and first off let me tell you all something, I can pretty much gurrantee that I know more about both games then any of you idiots, also Cloud is a wuss, okay I said it, listen Cloud waa a grunt in the ShinRa army he was so week that he couldn’t get past the lowest rank, Link is the legendary Hero of Time, his sword skills show. Link doesn’t have to have his weapons to beat Cloud. If both Characters were striped down to just swords then Link would win.

You’re right, Link’s swords are more manueverabel that Cloud’s if anyone OTHER than Cloud was using them. He moves doesn’t swords like they weight nothing.
You keep talkign about Link’s invincibility FOR A LIMITED TIME. Cloud would have no problem dodging Link for that amount of time. Yo usaw how far he jumps in the fight with Sephiroth.
He can cast Regen, FinalAttack+Phoenix, Anyofthe"3” Spells+all attack the entire arena, Link could not dodge that.
One more thing, Cloud can TALK! Link just goes “HA! AH! ahhhHHHHHH!" over and over again. Just hearing it would put Cloud ina limit break. And even if Link was invincible, Finishing Touch would literally blow Link away.

hmmm Guest | I think that really there is no way of knowing who would win, as they both have very strong powers (I think) and, mainly, THEY WOULD NEVER FIGHT! THEY ARE NEVER EVEN GOING TO MEET EACH OTHER! EVEN IF THEY ACTUALLY EXISTED! LINK LIVES IN HYRULE(is that right, I can’t remember) AND CLOUD LIVES ON FF7 PLANET. Cid Guest | lol Sephiroth you get pissed way too easily, and it seems like you are always calling someone a name, I’ll have you know that my IQ is well above 180 and in case you don’t know what that means, I’m a genius. Also note that you don’t read everything, I didn’t say strip them both down to nothing, I said swords, nothing but a sword fight, also Link is not an Elf, he is a Hylan as in he isn’t 6 feet tall, and check this, in the windwaker Link has a counter attack, it let’s him roll around behind an enemy and attack him, thus stoping the enemy’s attack, and seeing as how Ehergiez and Melee have nothing to do with the game seires I think they should be left out, just face it no matter what any of you say I can come up with a way to make it useless, face it Link would win, it won’t be an easy victory but he would win.

For example I believe that Cloud would win, and no amount of random Link skill saying would convince me otherwise. This has mainly become people insulting each other’s intelligence... rather pointless I would say.

Cloud OWNS Link Guest | Ok here is why Link would be owned and utterly embarrased by Cloud. All Cloud needs is W-Summon, Mime, KOTR linked with HP absorb, and Final Attack linked with Phoenix. Now, this is where Link gets owned. Cloud summons KOTR twice with W-Summon, Link CANNOT dodge a summon attack by Cloud, and every time KOTR is summoned, Link will incur 129,000 hit points of damage. Also every time KOTR is summoned by Cloud, Cloud regains any loss of health and is immediately cured to full HP. Then, all Cloud does is mime KOTR constantly, allowing him to deal out 129000 damage, for an infinite amount of time. Link only has invincibility for a LIMITED TIME...and Cloud can summon KOTR forever if he has to, eventually Link runs out of Faries. IF somehow Link is actually able to kill Cloud...Cloud will summon Phoenix and be instantly revived and restored to full HP, so in effect it would be IMPOSSIBLE for Link to beat Cloud. As time goes on Cloud is still at full HP because KOTR is healing him every time they’re summoned. If 20 hearts is equivalent to 9999HP and Link only has LIMITED invincibility but Cloud has permanent invincibility, then now matter how long it takes, Cloud wins...end of story. I love Link and all, I think he’s totally awesome...but the materia system is way too strong compared to anything Link could dish out. And on the stipulation that both opponents are stripped down to solely their swords...that would be an awesome fight! Both have amazing sword skills. Cloud wields his Buster sword as easily as Link maneuvers his Master sword. In the end, Cloud, with all his Mako and Jenova cell enhancements, would be much too strong for Link. In either case, I pray for Link if he ever meets Cloud...which is not impossible. Perhaps in the future we’ll see a Soul Calibur game that has Cloud and Link in it...who knows?
