Congradulations, all of you... I’ve seen a LOT of forum debates in my day, but they’ve never broken down into how Sonic and Mario would rape, rob and pillage.

I think that Sonic’s speed is a little over exaggerated, thinking from the viewpoint of the games compared to what’s said. The fastest Sonic was the one in the Intro Movie of Sonic CD, but in Adventure and Adventure 2, he’s a lot slower than he used to be...

another thing id like to add is sonic has his own band,cartoon,websites,games,action figerons,
murchendice,comics and he is posted on walls in japan i didnt see mario any wear oh and who here listens to crush 40 (sonics band)

Hang on a min; YOU think that Mario could beat Sonic? *laughs* Okay, lets get a few things straight first. Let’s look at the designs of the Characters, shall we?

Mario - He’s a short fat Italian plumber with a red hat and red dungarees. Oh come on I could come up with that design any day, not thought on much

Sonic - he’s a blue humanoid hedgehog, he wares white gloves and red sneakers and has very strange looking eyes. If you ask me, a blue humanoid hedgey with these strange linking eyes is pretty creative.

Mario is too babyish looking, he’s all happy and shit, and he lives in a world with smiling trees..huh?! Mostly everything in Mario’s world has a fucking face (stars mushrooms ect). It’s like a world made up by some 6 year old.

Sonic looks way cooler then Mario, he’s edgy, sleek and looks bad. He lives on Mobius which is filled with humanize animals like him. Mobius is full with tropical islands and various locations.

Now let’s looks at the story.

In most games Mario has to save a princess named peach on regular bases who gets captured by a creature named Bowser (who is a Kooper, a turtle/dragon like creature). Your typical 'boy-needs-to-save-girl' story *yawn*

Sonic to save his planet by a guy names Dr Robotnik/De Eggman (who is a Human that looks like an egg XD). He captures animals and puts them in machines to take over Mobius, so Sonic has to free them. This story line is more creative.

Now let’s look at attacks

Mario has his punch and kicks and can turn invisible, metal, and fly with the right item. He can obtain or sorts of different items. I’m quite happy that he these attacks that give up for the lack of his physical look and story line. Keep in mind that these are items you have to collect, so he cant use them when he wants..

Sonic can jump in a circular motion and land on enemies, slicing them to bits. He can use his spin dash which works allot like that. He has other moves such as Homing attack, his tornado attack, and a series off punches and kicks, BUT his most powerful of moves is when he turns into 'Super Sonic'. He can take down fucking buildings without breaking a sweat this form let alone some fat ass plumber.

I can say easily say that Sonic would win in a fight.

Let’s look at the games characters

Mario and all his other friends have week personalities, they look happier and cuter then ever (and when I mean cute, I mean that sickening baby cute)

Sonic and his friends all have the own unique personality which was thought on pretty hard (e.g., Sonic is laid back and Knuckles is stubborn). Like Sonic, the designs on these characters are more creative.

I have nearly finished rambling now but I have a few things ta say..

MeTaLMeLeEMaStER, what are you going on about? Sonics speed over exaggerated? Have you even seen the anime?, you obviously haven’t played most of Sonics games, oh and let me say a few things about the anime. The anime just proves that Sonic has more publicity, more merchandise ect (like Riaden said in the last post)

Yeah, I’ve finished now, so in all, shut the hell up you Mario fans saying that Sonic cant do squat.

Marios weakness is that he can get hit once and die, unless he finds a mushroom.

and, sonic could just run the hell away from mario if he was hurt and find health. if there wasn’t, he could still dodge all of mario’s attacks no matter what since he’s so freakin' fast. so he could attack mario at the speed of sound and he could run away at the speed of sound. sonic hands down.

i dont know who would win in a battle but i do know whos games are better...mario has way better games sonic is like the mc hammer of the game industry he is old broke and played out

Errrrrr no have you ever seen Sonic 2 or 3? There is plenty of water in that, the pressure just slows him down, and he can drown, it’s just if he stays underwater to long like any normal person or hedgehog. He avoids Amy....... well... cause-1. Amy isn’t really hot-2.Sonic is 15 and Amy is 12. I sure as hell wouldn’t wanna go out with someone that is my little sister’s age.

Hey buddy im serious watch Sonic X. If Sonic was to fight Mario in the Sea, Sonic would surely dround, and in the 2-d games Sonic can go under water but requires water bubbles which come out of no where. And check out sonic heroes, o no i fell in the water my whole team is dead, lol, go Mario at least he can swim. Oh and in tag team Mario and Luigi would kick tails and Sonic’s but, all they would need would be the time star spirit from paper mario which would cast stop and sonic and tails leavin the vonerable to a beating= Sonic can get knocked out by Amy’s hammer, think of how much stronger Mario would be, also Mario can Level up to level 100+ in the RPg games and the greatest level i’ve ever seen sonic at was 3 in sonic heroes, face it Mario would win, not to mention Mario’s Vanish cap, flying cap, metal cap, ext. and Mario is just as powerful as Sonic when he has a star as super sonic or whatever that stupid power up is called!
