If we are not dead in one hundred years, I think the most sophisticated technology we will have is slow moving, robots without adequate memory and programming to be able to do anything more than walk. --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you.

HALO GUY Guest | I allways watch descovary channels, there is a robot in progress that can learne, and think 4 its self, and the reason they cant just program it with everything they know is coz it will be in a situation that has several ways out and then overload and have a total system whipeout.
And they will be able 2 put robot tranceplants in people in 20,000 yrs
Also make fake muscles and any body part, if u dont believe me then thats fine, i know its true and thats all i have 2 know.
Sorry i know 2 mutch about the solar system and technology(FUTURE STUFF)so i won’t take up the hole forum boring u guys/girls with all this stuff u don’t need 2 know.
There is black mattur and im not suppose 2 know about that and area 51 and(well i can’t say)
I hope i didnt bore u 2 mutch.

HESH Guest | Halo guy, i doubt they’re making a robot that can learn and think on it’s own. Learn yes, think no. Do you know how programming works? I dont, but my basic understanding of it is that you have to program in a response to every single possible synerio that can happen. Thats why in most text based games when you type something in in lower case and it require upper case the game either wont respond or says you did something wrong. In that cituation with the different ways out, there would be no way for the robot to make a decision of its own, it would merely reflect the opinion of the person programming it, not have an independent opinion itself.
I dont think that the robotic muscle thing is really that far in the future, especially seeing some of the advances they have made in prosthetic limbs.

Also years ago everyone thought that the world was flat, and no-one ever thought that we could fly a plane or anything so I guess it could be possible to make Terminator esq robots in the future.

HALO GUY Guest | In my brane, its yes only, dunno why but if u look at 2days technology where way ahed of our time, but because of the black death(plaugue)and the roman times, we were set back 90 yrs, i learnt that at school and discovary channel, so emagine if we werent set back, wow!!!!
And that is 1 of the reasons i think its possible.

Also, without the Black death there wouldn’t be better living conditions for people in Britain and we could still be living with open sewers and diesease. The Black death helped the Government see that hygeine was important for stopping diesease and so without it Britain could look very different.

But i know what you mean, though if you think about it without them technology still wouldn’t be advanced because we wouldn’t be as advanced in other more important areas.

Teleport!!! I don’t think that’ll ever be possible. They said that when starwars came out there was no lazer technology and they got the idea to develope it from Star Wars. Now they say people doubted that they could make lazer equipment when they saw it on star wars so people will doubt the teleporting. But they’re still experimenting and if it works it’ll only be ready in the centuries to come.
